They explore product development by designing AI-powered solutions, prototyping, and iterating based on feedback. These experiences encourage students to address societal challenges, such as environmental sustainability, health improvements, and humanitarian needs, promoting social responsibility alongside technical proficiency.

Immersive Learning with VR and AR

Imagine walking through the solar system, exploring the human heart, or solving real-world problems in a virtual environment—all without leaving the classroom. At ENS-RAK, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) transform traditional learning into unforgettable experiences. These immersive cutting-edge tools technologies not only make abstract ideas tangible, but also bring complex concepts to life, allowing students to interact with subjects in ways that ignite curiosity and creativity. Whether designing virtual models for STEAM projects, diving into historical moments, or experimenting with innovative solutions in a simulated lab, our students are not just learning—they’re experiencing. Aligned with our E-STEAM philosophy, VR and AR empower students to tackle challenges, collaborate effectively, and approach learning as innovators, preparing them for the ever-evolving demands of the future.

Fostering Leadership Through Innovation Action Plans
True innovation begins with vision and strategy. Our leadership’s creation of tailored Innovation Action Plans demonstrates how strategic planning can fuel growth. A streamlined organizational structure underpins this school’s exceptional E-STEAM programs. Led by a visionary principal, Ms. Naira Hamdy thrives to foster a culture of creativity and forward-thinking, ensuring the seamless implementation of STEAM and E-STEAM initiatives; “E-STEAM in our school goes beyond just integrating technology—it’s about nurturing inquiry, creativity, and real-world problem-solving. As an IB school, this approach aligns perfectly with our mission to develop globally minded learners who are prepared to innovate and lead in a rapidly changing world.” Ms. Naira Hamdy says.
Central to this effort is the E-Learning Coordinator, Ms. Muna Ass’ad, who also heads the ICT/Design department. This role involves integrating E-STEAM principles into the curriculum, designing interdisciplinary projects, and equipping students with cutting-edge technological tools.

By working closely with school leaders, department heads, and teachers, these programs align with the school’s goals, offering students hands-on learning experiences that build critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills; “ our E-STEAM approach encourages students to ask questions, investigate, and explore the world around them; by engaging in hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and creative projects, our students build their curiosity and ability to seek answers, which aligns with the profile of being an Inquirer.” Mr. Bilal the head of boys school, says.
With strong leadership and collaboration, the school creates a dynamic environment where E-STEAM innovation thrives.

A Journey of Growth and Innovation

The journey to integrating STEAM into the school curriculum began with a clear vision: “TO PREPARE FUTURE LEADERS WITH INNOVATION” Through strategic steps, our school has built a robust and innovative STEAM program that not only enriches students’ academic experiences but also equips them with the entrepreneurial mindset and practical skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
